Welcome Message from
Head of Kent College Canterbury
Mr. Mark Turnbull
Hello. My name is Mark Turnbull and I'm the Headmaster here at Kent College, Canterbury.
I want to welcome you all into the family of schools that now make up Kent College. We have a history that stretches back over 135 years, and in that time, we have developed a reputation for excellence in education.
We are regularly ranked as one of the top IB schools in the UK, and our A level results are also excellent.
This year, we have sent children to the top universities across the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge and Russell group institutions, as well as universities across the world. At the heart of a Kent College education is the individual and valuing who they are to give them the confidence to embrace all the opportunities to learn and thrive at school. All Kent College schools are founded on the shared values of integrity, respect and tolerance. This means that we're always true to our shared aims, that we welcome people of all abilities and all backgrounds, and we continue to hold a respect for ourselves, for each other, and, just as importantly, the world in which we're growing up. We very much hope that in the years ahead, Kent College West Cairo, will grow with Kent College Canterbury and Kent College Dubai to share the learning opportunities for all our children.
Welcome Message from
Headmaster of Kent College West Cairo
Mr. Johnnie Kittermaster
Welcome to Kent College West Cairo where we pride ourselves on providing a happy and safe environment, where children can thrive and families feel part of our caring community. Kent College West Cairo is a friendly, caring and inclusive school where each child is treated as an individual and we endeavour to maximise each child’s potential.
We mirror much of what happens at our mother school in Canterbury and our sister school in Dubai. This family of schools allows us to share best practice with two outstanding schools and we have termly visits from Kent College Canterbury to ensure that the quality of teaching is the same as that in the UK.
We believe that through a coaching culture of encouragement and an appreciation that every child is good at something, be it in the classroom, artistically or whether a child has a love of sport they will enjoy coming to school every day from fully qualified British teachers.
We believe in building skills and character that will be with an individual long after they have left school as well as ensuring that she/he has the skills needed for the workplace in the 21st Century.
Confidence is so important to us as we prepare our students to be future leaders and many leadership opportunities are available throughout the school.
