Establish a purposeful and learning environment where children and young people feel secure and confident. Provide learning support to small groups and individuals with a wide range of special educational needs. Individual interventions, general or targeted in class support. study supervision (maintaining a positive working environment for children to work individually on prep during the day). Cover supervision (where the teacher is absent but has set work) and exam invigilation. Kent College West Cairo is seeking an exceptional and dynamic Head of Early Years to lead our EYFS department and inspire excellence across our FS1 (Nursery) and FS2 (Reception) classes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily, mid-term, and long-term management of the EYFS provision.
- Teach one Early Years class while overseeing curriculum planning and assessment (there will be a substantial remission for the performance of management duties)
- Monitor teaching standards and ensure high-quality learning and development.
- Support the Head with EYFS-related matters and school management.
- Lead, mentor, and support Early Years teachers, and teaching assistants.
- Manage EYFS budgets and resources.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and the school leadership team.
- Support pupil recruitment and contribute to whole-school development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Early Years Teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Strong knowledge and practice of EYFS curriculum and assessment.
- Experience leading a team within an educational setting.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner with experience raising pupil attainment.
- Early Years SENDCo qualification is desirable.

Job Summary:
The Student Affairs Specialist supports all processes related to student registration, documentation, and compliance with Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements. The role focuses on accurate data entry, proper handling of student records, and coordination with ministry departments for exams, registration, and student transfers. The specialist also serves as a point of contact for parents and students on ministry-related admission matters, offering clear and timely communication. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with MOE regulations are essential.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Enter and update student data in the school’s database/system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of admission information.
- Collect, organize, and securely maintain official student documents required for registration and records.
- Register students with the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education (MOE).
- Coordinate with the Ministry of Education regarding the scheduling of Arabic, Social Studies, and Religion examinations, handling control related matters and proper documentation and recording of exam results.
- Maintain and regularly update student records in accordance with MOE requirements.
- Work closely with the Head of Admissions and Student Affairs Manager to ensure compliance with all MOE guidelines.
- Support the process of student transfers to and from the school, ensuring all required documentation and procedures are completed.
- Respond to inquiries from students and parents regarding Ministry admissions and registration requirements, providing accurate and timely information.
- Communicate professionally with students and parents via phone, email, and official correspondence.
- Track, organize, and file all documents and forms received or issued, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Student Affairs Manager or school administration.
- Timely renewal of School permits with MOE when due.
- Apply and Finalize MOE permits for new buildings if any.
- Follow up on any new operational requirements from MOE and share it with school team and ensure compliance.
