Kent College West Cairo is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Head of Junior School for August 2025.
We are looking for either a current serving senior leader or ambitious middle leader to join our senior leadership team.
Kent College West Cairo is a rapidly expanding and prestigious international school with strong connections to its founding school. The school undergoes regular inspections by Kent College Canterbury and visits for educational support, expertise, and ensuring the school’s provision is of the highest quality, both academically and pastorally.
The new Head of Junior School will be an integral member of the senior leadership team. It is expected that they will provide strong, dynamic leadership and highly effective management. He or she will work with all staff to ensure the continued success and development of Kent College West Cairo. The Head of Junior School will lead Years 2 to 6, ensuring strong provision is in place for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Job Description:
As a Junior Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for assisting the accounting department with accounts Payable tasks. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers.
- Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable with general ledger and vendor statements.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Providing support to senior accounting staff as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in accounting from (1- 2 years).
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Odoo is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
