The Role

Kent College West Cairo is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Head of Junior School for August 2025.

We are looking for either a  current serving senior leader or ambitious middle leader to join our senior leadership team.

Kent College West Cairo is a rapidly expanding and prestigious international school with strong connections to its founding school. Job Description:

As a Junior Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for assisting the accounting department with accounts Payable tasks. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:

• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers.
• Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
• Reconcile accounts payable with general ledger and vendor statements.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Providing support to senior accounting staff as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• Prior experience in accounting from (1- 2 years).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like Odoo is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
