Mr. Brad Walmsley

I have over 17 years of experience in British education across the UK and Spain, including more than a decade at my previous school in Barcelona. I believe education should be a time of challenge, discovery and growth, developing the confidence, resilience and curiosity children need to succeed.

I began my career in the UK, building a strong foundation in teaching and learning before moving into international education. I was a founding member of my previous school in Barcelona, helping to establish and develop the school as it grew into a thriving international community.

For the past 12 years, I have held senior leadership roles, leading whole-school improvement, curriculum development and staff development. As Head of Primary and Early Years, I focused on raising standards, prioritising wellbeing and building a collaborative culture based on shared values and high expectations.

At Kent College West Cairo, my goal is to build on the school’s strengths and further develop an ambitious, nurturing and inspiring Early Years environment. I want every child to feel happy, safe and valued while developing the independence, curiosity and confidence to succeed. I look forward to working closely with children, staff and families to ensure our youngest learners receive the strongest possible foundations for their future education and a lifelong love of learning.
