Who is Ms. Engie Abdelgawad?

Business Manager

With nearly two decades of experience in educational leadership, I have dedicated my career to transforming academic institutions through strategic vision, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of teaching and learning. My journey began in 2007, when I quickly mastered all facets of school operations and rose through leadership roles, driven by a passion for creating exceptional learning environments.
Over the years, I have led schools of over 2,000 students, overseeing administration, admissions and strategic development, while also serving as Head of Secondary. These experiences have given me a unique, 360-degree perspective on how every part of a school—inside and outside the classroom—works together to shape student success. My professional scope spans accreditation, policy formulation, budget management and compliance—skills that have established me as a trusted leader in Egypt’s educational sector.
Today, as the Founding Business Manager and Vice Chairman of the Board at Kent College West Cairo, I focus on building strong systems, ensuring financial sustainability and planning for our future growth. Whether it’s supporting innovative academic projects, guiding a talented team or ensuring that essential services such as catering, transportation and uniforms meet the highest standards, I take pride in knowing these efforts directly benefit our students, staff, and families.
What inspires me most is seeing how thoughtful planning and teamwork can transform challenges into opportunities. I believe in collaboration, problem-solving and empowering people to bring out their best because when a school community works together, the results are extraordinary.
At the heart of it all, I believe education has the power to change lives and I am committed to ensuring Kent College West Cairo delivers on that promise every single day.
